Counselling & Psychosexual Therapy
A warm explanation that women can seek therapy for emotional well being, relationship, sexuality, trauma, life transitions and personal challenges
Women’s Therapy in Sydney
Being a woman can come with many different pressures and life changes. Sometimes you can feel like you’re carrying everything for everyone else while quietly struggling yourself.
You might be feeling overwhelmed, disconnected from yourself, struggling in a relationship, questioning your confidence or simply knowing that something doesn’t feel right.
You don’t have to have everything figured out before you reach out.
Women’s therapy provides a space to slow down, talk honestly about what’s happening and make sense of what you’re experiencing — without judgement.

When your relationship with yourself has changed
Sometimes the hardest part isn’t being able to explain exactly what’s wrong. You may simply notice that you don’t feel like yourself anymore.
Perhaps your confidence has changed. Maybe you don’t feel interested in sex like you used to. You might feel disconnected from your body, overwhelmed by life’s responsibilities or unsure how to communicate what you need.
These experiences can be difficult to talk about, particularly when you feel that you’re supposed to be coping.
Therapy gives you somewhere to put all of that down for a while.
Together, we can explore what’s happening and work towards helping you feel more confident, connected and comfortable with yourself.
Women’s Sexual Health
Sexual health isn’t just about sex. It can be closely connected to your emotions, relationships, body image, confidence, stress and overall wellbeing.
You may be experiencing changes in desire, difficulty becoming aroused, pain during sex, difficulty reaching orgasm or feeling anxious about intimacy.
You may also be wondering why sex feels different after having children, during a relationship change, following a difficult experience, or as your body changes through different stages of life.
There is no need to feel embarrassed. These are conversations we can have openly and respectfully.
Fertility, conception and preconception concerns
Trying to conceive can bring a mixture of hope, excitement, disappointment and anxiety.
Whether you’re thinking about starting a family, experiencing difficulties conceiving, navigating fertility treatment or simply feeling overwhelmed by the pressure surrounding pregnancy, counselling can provide a space to talk about the emotional side of the experience.
You don’t have to go through the emotional ups and downs alone.
Perimenopause and changing sexuality
Changes in hormones and the transition through perimenopause and menopause can affect much more than your menstrual cycle.
You may notice changes in your libido, arousal, body image, mood, confidence or relationship with sex.
For some women, these changes can feel unexpected and difficult to talk about.
Therapy can provide a place to explore the emotional and relationship impact of these changes and help you reconnect with yourself.
You don’t have to wait until things become unbearable
You don’t need to be in crisis to come to therapy.
Sometimes you just know that you want things to feel different.
Maybe you’re tired of putting yourself last. Maybe you’re struggling to communicate what you need. Maybe something has happened that you haven’t been able to process. Or perhaps you’re simply ready to understand yourself a little better.
Whatever brings you here, we can start where you are.
My approach
I am warm, respectful and non-judgemental. I believe therapy should feel like a place where you can be honest about the parts of your life that aren’t always easy to talk about.
You don’t have to pretend you’re okay here.
If you’re ready to talk, I’m here to listen.
